We are seeking a talented and energetic Product Support Engineer to support Illuminate’s GSM, UMTS and LTE network monitoring solution. The successful candidate will work closely with the software development team to address technical issues related to software installations, functions and upgrades; and, support field engineers and customers in implementing customized solutions for their networks. The successful candidate is expected to work well on his/her own and within the broader Illuminate organization.
An effective candidate will be able to work out of the Northern VA office (coming in Spring of 2020) as required, at the Columbia MD office as required, and remotely (at home office).
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Technical Support and R&D Teams in Edinburgh and Los Angeles to:
- Provide support to the field engineers based in Maryland, Illuminate labs (CA), customer labs or customer sites
- Design, implement and maintain support tools used to monitor daily health and status of systems
Create/maintain data gathering and troubleshooting tools for use by field engineers and internal developers as required - Analyze logs, stack traces, debug libraries, software/hardware telemetry and read/verify/improve documentation
- Support and troubleshoot production systems both remotely and on-site
- Create workaround procedures to resolve discovered problems
- Participate in customer-facing meetings to review operational status of deployed systems
- Participate in requirements definition of new products
- Provide 24/7 support as needed when field engineers are on customer site
- Mentor/train field engineers as required on new features

Minimum Mandatory Qualifications:

We are seeking a talented and energetic Mobile Network System Engineer who will interface with customers on a regular basis and provide technical leadership for key company projects. Responsibilities:
- Participate in customer-facing meetings to review operational status of deployed systems
- Provide system installation support to include: package breakout and installation of equipment; create installation drawings/instructions, manage cables (to include fiber, coaxial and twisted pair); install initial OS and application software; generate as-built documents; configure initial system and checking equipment for proper operation; and, provide troubleshooting support

Job Description:
The Enterprise IT Operations Service Delivery Manager’s key responsibilities includes:
- Work with the Illuminate Leadership Team to establish a comprehensive IT plan and program vision, strategy, and governance model that aligns with overall business objectives and drives business performance.
- Develop and execute on IT strategies and plans. Apply knowledge and expertise of product and service capabilities and environment to identify technology, product, and service solutions.
